Analynn Bustamante, a current PhD student in the Department of Applied Linguistics and ESL, has been awarded a research grant by the TOEFL Committee of Examiners for her study entitled “Middle School Teachers’ Language Assessment Literacy.”
Yeon Joo Jung was awarded a Doctoral Dissertation Grant by the International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF) for her work on “The role of socially-mediated alignment in the development of second language grammar and vocabulary: Comparing face-to-face and synchronous mobile-mediated communication”
